One of the most influential guitarists of his generation, Mike Stern is combining the swing of Wes Montgomery, the energy of Jimi Hendrix and the creativity of Pat Metheny in his playing. He has been one of the leading figures of the jazz fusion scene for over forty years. In the year of his 70th birthday he finally comes back to Langnau, where he has already thrilled the audience with his music a few times.

The trio around guitarist and composer Mareille Merck (*1996) released their second co-production with SRF 2 Kultur in 2022 with "Stille Wasser". In 2021, the debut album "Fadenschlag" inspired the international press, in the same year the band was nominated for the ZKB Jazz Prize and invited to the "Suisse Diagonales Jazz" festival. Together with her two companions Francesco Losavio (b) and Janic Haller (dr), Mareille Merck combines her striking influences of fingerstyle techniques and rock areas with clear jazzy structures.
